Simbarashe Raymond Chinyanga, popularly known as Simba Ray, is a versatile recording artist, worship leader, vocal coach, and producer from Harare, Zimbabwe. Growing up as the youngest of four in a Christian family, he was exposed to a wide range of musical influences, which ignited his passion for music from a young age. By his early teens, Simba fully embraced music as his calling.

At just 17, Simba successfully auditioned for the renowned Zimpraise Choir, where he became the youngest member. Over time, he took on key roles within the choir, serving as a vocal director, executive committee member, and touring globally for concerts and conferences in a decade.

Simba Ray’s impressive background vocal work has made him a sought-after collaborator, working alongside prominent artists like Pastor G, Thembalami, and Everton Mlalazi and other various notable musicians. As a solo artist, his unique sound blends urban contemporary music with elements of praise and worship, solidifying his presence as both a worship leader and recording artist.
